Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Amending The City Council Regular Meeting Calendar For October 2024 Through January 2025 WHEREAS, on December 19, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 23-170 setting the regular meeting calendar for the period February 2024 through January 2025; and
WHEREAS, at the September 17, 2024, City Council meeting, Vice Mayor Mourra requested and received majority support for an agenda item cancelling the November 5, 2024, regular City Council meeting and calling for a special meeting on October 29, 2024; and
WHEREAS, historically, the City Council has not convened on the first Tuesday in January. The January 7, 2025, meeting was adopted as part of the regular meeting schedule because there is only one regular meeting in December; and WHEREAS, staff have discussed the agenda calendar for the rest of 2024 and determined that all City business can be accomplished with one meeting each in November 2024, December 2024, and January 2025; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the amended meeting calendar will include three meetings in October on the 1st, 15th, and 29th; one meeting in November on the 19th; one meeting in December on the 10th; and one meeting in January on the 21st.
