Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Community Member For A Term Commencing March 4, 2025, And Ending June 30, 2025, And Appointing _____ As Business Representative Or Community Member For A Term Commencing March 4, 2025, And Ending June 30, 2026, To Serve On The Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee; And Amending The FY2024-25 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly WHEREAS, the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee has two positions currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, the vacancies on the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970, et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____ and _____ possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Community Member to serve on the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee for a term commencing March 4, 2025, and ending June 30, 2025; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ and _____ are hereby appointed as Business Representative or Community Member to serve on the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee for terms commencing March 4, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2024-25 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
