I was a partner in the law firm of Ryan & Fong with an emphasis on civil litigation and business law. I also started two nonprofits, Faith and Homeless Families, and the Hemishperes After School Arts Academy.
Currently, I helped to start the MEP Career Academies, which is a nonprofit in partnership with the SCUSD School District. We opened an Engineering, Construction and Design Academy at Rosemont High School in Sacramento.
Why are you interested in serving on this Board, Commission or Committee? I am one of the partners in East Bay Therapeutics and am responsible for community outreach and the community benefits program in the City of Emeryville. I am also responsible for administering the Ohana Community Foundation statewide. I am very interested in making sure that East Bay Therapeutics becomes a great neighbor and corporate citizen in the City of Emeryville, and believe that serving on the EDAC will allow the greatest opportunity for service to the City of Emeryville.
