Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Large Business Representative/Business Representative For A Term Commencing June 17, 2025, And Ending June 30, 2026; Appointing _____ As Resident, And Appointing _____ And _____ As Small Business Representatives, To Serve On The Economic Development Advisory Committee For Terms Commencing July 1, 2025, And Ending June 30, 2027; And Amending The FY2025-26 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Advisory Committee has one position currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Advisory Committee has three positions whose terms are scheduled to end as of June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the vacant and pending vacancies on the Economic Development Advisory Committee were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970, et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Economic Development Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____, _____, _____ and _____ possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Large Business Representative/Business Representative to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Committee for a term commencing June 17, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Resident to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Committee for a term commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2027; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ and _____ are hereby appointed as Small Business Representatives to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Committee for terms commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2027; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2025-26 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
