Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Accepting A Donation In The Amount Of $6,000 From Stanford Health Care To The Community Services Department To Support Annual Community Events, To Be Recorded In 5410-62600 When Received And To Be Expended From 5410-73500
WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville’s Community Services Department offers community events where people congregate to partake in recreational and social activities as well as health and educational programs; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Policy, any monetary or in-kind donations to the City, valued at more than $250, must be approved by resolution by the City Council; and WHEREAS, Stanford Health Care’s public private partnership with the City of Emeryville includes a donation of $6,000 for the purchase of goods and services to support community events in Emeryville; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the City hereby accepts a donation in the amount of $6,000 from Stanford Health Care to subsidize the operating costs for the Harvest Festival and Healthy Families Festival in 2025/2026 to be recorded in the General Fund account 5410-62600 when received and to be expended from account 5410-73500.
