Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Accepting The Donation Of Murmuration’s, An Original Art Work By Emeryville Artist Salma Arastu WHEREAS, Emeryville artist Salma Arastu wishes to donate Murmuration’s, her original art work, to the City; and
WHEREAS, the art work was created as a result of a Rotten City Cultural District residency by the artist and is proposed for donation to the City; and WHEREAS, the Public Art Committee recommended acceptance of the donated work at its regular meeting on September 11, 2025; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Administrative Instruction No. 111, a proposed donation to the City valued at more than $250 must be accepted by the City Council by resolution; and WHEREAS, the proposed donation is valued at more than $250; now, therefore be it RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Emeryville accepts the donation of Murmuration’s, an original art work by Emeryville artist Salama Arastu.
