Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Community Member To Serve On The Parks And Recreation Committee For A Term Commencing October 21, 2025, And Ending June 30, 2026; And Amending The FY2025-26 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly WHEREAS, the Parks And Recreation Committee has one vacant position; and WHEREAS, the vacancy on the Parks And Recreation Committee was announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970, et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Parks And Recreation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____ possesses the necessary qualifications to serve on the Parks And Recreation Committee; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville _____ is hereby appointed as Community Member to serve on the Parks And Recreation Committee for terms commencing October 21, 2025, and ending June 30, 2027; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2025-26 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
