CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Blakespear called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m.
Present: Mayor Catherine S. Blakespear, Deputy Mayor Joe Mosca, Council Members Kellie Shay Hinze and Tony Kranz

AGENDA ITEM
1. Presentation by the San Diego County Sheriffs Department to the City Council and members of the Equity Committee, regarding law enforcement services in the City.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive the presentation from the San Diego County Sheriffs Department and provide feedback and possible direction.
Assistant City Manager Campbell introduced the following staff from the San Diego County Sheriffs Department who were available to answer questions from Council:
Undersheriff Kelly Martinez and Assistant Sheriff Dave Brown (via telephone), Commander Theresa Adams-Hydar, Captain Dustin Lopez, and Contract Manager Keith Spears.,
Contract Manager Keith Spears presented an overview of the Law Enforcement Services contract and law enforcement services in the city. r
Equity Committee Members Marlon Taylor and Robin Sales provided input regarding law enforcement services.
