COMMISSION JOINT SPECIAL MEETING

CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Blakespear called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.
Present: City Council: Mayor Catherine S. Blakespear, Deputy Mayor Joe Mosca, Council Members Kellie Shay Hinze, Tony Kranz, and Joy Lyndes Planning Commission: Chair Bruce Ehlers, Vice Chair Kevin Doyle, Commissioners Stephen Dalton, Christine Ryan, and Susan Sherod
Absent: None
Also present: City Manager Antil, Assistant City Attorney Schultz, Development Services Director Sapa'u, Planning Manager Gates, Planning Manager Colamussi, City Clerk Hollywood and Deputy City Clerk Bingham
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
AGENDA ITEMS
1. City Council and Planning Commission discussion regarding the development of objective design and development regulations for urban lot splits and two -unit residential development in single family zones as allowed under Senate Bill 9 ("SB 9"). Contact Person: Planning Manager Gates
Recommended Action: Discuss development of objective design and development regulations related to the implementation of SB 9 and provide direction to staff as necessary.
Planning Manager Gates presented the staff report and responded to questions from the City Council and Planning Commission.

Jerrylanne Kessler and Glen O'Grady spoke.
City Council and Planning Commission provided comments regarding the development of objective design and development regulations related to the implementation of SB 9.
