MINUTES OF THE JOINT SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ENCINITAS
CITY COUNCIL AND THE SAN DIEGUITO WATER DISTRICT
JUNE 8, 2022, 4:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
In the interest of public health, and consistent with the provisions of Assembly Bill 361 (AB 361) and related resolutions adopted by the City of Encinitas City Council, the City of Encinitas is temporarily taking actions to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic by holding City Council Meetings electronically.
This was not an in-person meeting.
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Blakespear called the meeting to order at 4:07 p.m.
Present: City Council: Mayor Catherine S. Blakespear, Council Members Kellie Shay Hinze, Tony Kranz, Joy Lyndes, and Deputy Mayor Mosca
Present: San Dieguito Water District: President Mosca, Vice President Catherine S.
Blakespear, Board Members Kellie Shay Hinze, Tony Kranz, and Joy Lyndes
Absent: None
Also present: City Manager Antil, City Attorney Preziosi, Director of Administrative Services Schwarm (Items #3-4), Director of Human Resources Bokosky (Item #4), Development Services Director Sapa’u (Items #1-3), City Engineer Bankston (Items #1-2), Special Counsel Tim Davis (Item #4), Special Counsel Mark Wilson (Item #4), Special Counsel Barbara Kautz and Dolores Dalton (Item #3), and City Clerk Hollywood
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
City Clerk Hollywood announced that the San Dieguito Water District Board Members receive an independent stipend of $100 for convening the Water District meetings pursuant to San Dieguito Water District Resolution No. 89-07.

REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
At the June 8, 2022, Regular City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. City Attorney Preziosi reported that the City Council and the San Dieguito Water District held a Special Joint Closed Session on June 8, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., to consider four items and there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Blakespear adjourned the meeting at 5:49 p.m.
