MINUTES OF THE ENCINITAS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 21, 2022, 4:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Kranz called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Tony Kranz, Deputy Mayor Joy Lyndes, Council Members Bruce Ehlers, and Kellie Shay Hinze (Participating via teleconference from 4620 Kuawa Road, Kilauea, HI 96754)
Absent: None; there is one vacancy on the City Council
Also present: City Manager Antil, City Attorney Preziosi, Assistant City Manager Campbell, Director of Administrative Services Schwarm, Special Counsel Mitch Dean, City Clerk Hollywood, and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

Council adjourned into Closed Session at 4:02 p.m.
REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
At the 6:00 p.m., Regular City Council meeting, City Attorney Preziosi reported that the City Council held a Closed Session at 4:00 p.m., to consider one item, for approximately one hour, and there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Kranz adjourned the meeting at 5:06 p.m.
