MINUTES OF THE JOINT SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ENCINITAS
CITY COUNCIL AND THE SAN DIEGUITO WATER DISTRICT
MAY 17, 2023, 3:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor/Vice President Kranz called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
Present: City Council: Tony Kranz, Deputy Mayor Joy Lyndes, Council Members Allison Blackwell, Bruce Ehlers, and Kellie Shay Hinze
Present: San Dieguito Water District: President Joy Lyndes, Vice President Tony Kranz, Board Members Allison Blackwell, Bruce Ehlers, and Kellie Shay Hinze
Absent: None
Also present: City Manager Antil, City Attorney Preziosi, Director of Administrative Services Schwarm, Assistant City Manager Campbell, Director of Human Resources Bokosky (Items #1-2), Special Counsel Tim Davis (Items #1-2), Development Services Director Sapa’u (Item #3), Peter Curry, Cushman and Wakefield (Item #3), City Clerk Hollywood, and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
City Clerk Hollywood announced that the San Dieguito Water District Board Members receive an independent stipend of $100 for convening the Water District meetings pursuant to San Dieguito Water District Resolution No. 89-07.

REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
At the May 17, 2023, Regular City Council Meeting at 6:00 p.m., City Attorney Preziosi reported that the City Council and the San Dieguito Water District held a Special Joint Closed Session at 3:00 p.m., to consider two items and there were no reportable actions regarding Items #1-2. For City Closed Session Item #3 there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor/Vice President Kranz adjourned the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
