MINUTES OF THE ENCINITAS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
OCTOBER 11, 2023, 4:30 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Kranz called the meeting to order at 4:31 p.m.
Present: Mayor Tony Kranz, Deputy Mayor Joy Lyndes, Council Members Allison Blackwell, Bruce Ehlers, and Kellie Shay Hinze (arrived at 4:33 p.m.)
Absent: None
Also present: City Attorney Preziosi, City Manager Antil, Assistant City Manager Campbell, Administrative Services Director Schwarm, Deputy City Manager Sapa’u, Special Counsel Mitch Dean, City Clerk Hollywood, and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

Mayor Kranz announced that Item #2 has been removed from the agenda.
There were no public speakers.
Mayor and City Council adjourned into Closed Session at 4:32 p.m.
REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Preziosi reported at the 6:00 p.m., regular City Council meeting that the City Council held a Closed Session at approximately 4:30 p.m., to consider one item, and there was no reportable action. He also announced that the second Closed Session Item listed on the agenda was removed from the agenda and not considered.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Kranz adjourned the Closed Session meeting at 4:55 p.m.
