MINUTES OF THE ENCINITAS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 8, 2024, 5:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Kranz called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Tony Kranz, Deputy Mayor Allison Blackwell, Council Members Bruce Ehlers, Kellie Shay Hinze (arrived at 5:05 p.m.), and Joy Lyndes
Absent: None
Also present: Deputy City Attorney Smith, City Manager Antil, Assistant City Manager Campbell, Deputy City Manager Sapa’u, Administrative Services Director Schwarm, Special Counsel Mitch Dean, City Clerk Hollywood, and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

Mayor and City Council adjourned into Closed Session at 5:01 p.m.
REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Kranz reported at the 6:00 p.m., regular City Council meeting that the City Council held a Closed Session at approximately 5:00 p.m., to discuss one item, and there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Kranz adjourned the Closed Session meeting at 5:31 p.m.
