MINUTES OF THE ENCINITAS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
JULY 1, 2024, 11:00 A.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Kranz called the meeting to order at 11:01 a.m.
Present: Mayor Tony Kranz, Deputy Mayor Allision Blackwell, Council Members Bruce Ehlers (arrived at 11:02 a.m.), Kellie Shay Hinze, and Joy Lyndes
Absent: None
Also present: City Manager Antil (Item #1), City Attorney Preziosi (Item #2), Administrative Services Director Schwarm (Item #2), and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

Mayor and City Council adjourned into Closed Session at 11:02 a.m.
REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Preziosi reported that the City Council held a Closed Session at approximately 11:00 a.m., to consider two items. City Attorney Preziosi reported that regarding Closed Session Item #1 there was no reportable action. He also reported that regarding Closed Session Item #2 the City Council authorized staff to issue a comment letter to the Notice of Preparation EIR for the LOSSAN Rail Realignment project specifically to comment on Item P1A to be considered as part of the EIR.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Kranz adjourned the meeting at 1:16 p.m.
