MINUTES OF THE ENCINITAS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 18, 2024, 4:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Kranz called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Tony Kranz, Deputy Mayor Allision Blackwell, Council Members Bruce Ehlers, and Joy Lyndes
Absent: Council Member Kellie Shay Hinze
Also present: City Manager Antil, Assistant City Manager Campbell, Deputy City Manager Sapa’u, City Attorney Preziosi, Administrative Services Director Schwarm, Special Counsel Amanda Pope, Code Enforcement Supervisor Jemison, City Clerk Hollywood, and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

INITIATE LITIGATION

There were no public speakers.
Mayor and City Council adjourned into Closed Session at 4:02 p.m.
REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Preziosi reported at the 6:00 p.m., regular City Council meeting that the City Council held a Closed Session at approximately 4:00 p.m. to discuss one item and the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s office to initiate litigation. The identify of that litigation will be revealed if and when litigation is filed.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Kranz adjourned the meeting at 4:30 p.m.
