MINUTES OF THE ENCINITAS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 5, 2025, 1:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Ehlers called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m.
Present: Mayor Bruce Ehlers and Council Members Jim O’Hara, Luke Shaffer, and Marco San Antonio
Absent: Deputy Mayor Joy Lyndes
Also present: Interim City Manager Campbell, City Attorney Preziosi, Administrative Services Director Schwarm, Special Counsel Barbara Kautz, City Clerk Hollywood, and Deputy City Clerk Weichers
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
CLOSED SESSION
1. CLOSED SESSION: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL, SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURE
TO LITIGATION

There were no public speakers.
Mayor and City Council adjourned into Closed Session at 1:04 p.m.; and reconvened the meeting into open session at 4:01 p.m.
REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Preziosi reported that the City Council held a Closed Session at approximately 1:00 p.m. to discuss one item on the Closed Session Agenda and there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Ehlers adjourned the meeting at 4:02 p.m.
