Dear Mayor and City Council members,
As a current STR permit holder and resident in Encinitas I am writing to request your Consideration of the following 2 items regarding the STR amendment ordinance item 12D.
First I endorse the 3 year renewal time frame but would request a simpler renewal process. Currently it takes approximately 3 months and a complete new application
Process with an inspection. Instead I feel it would be more cost effective and less time consuming for staff and permit holder to just fill out a questionnaire regarding any changes at the renewal. If none, then done with fee paid.
If there are changes the city
Could then process accordingly.
