DISCUSSION
Each councilmember provided remarks on what prompted them to run for City Council and what about the City is most important to them.
Councilmembers then described the issues that they felt were most important or impactful to the businesses and residents of the City of Escalon.
City staff reviewed other City Strategic Plans to provide a sense of the approach for these efforts. The Departments then reviewed their preliminary 2025 work plans.
Councilmembers and staff then held a discussion regarding the areas of focus for the City and the priorities which should be worked on in the coming years. Staff will compile these initial thoughts and prepare a draft report for Council's consideration at a future council meeting.
