The City Council of the City of Eureka met in SPECIAL Session on the above date, 5:00 P.M. Open Session, at the Eureka City Hall, Council Chambers, 531 “K” Street, Eureka.

Resolution No. 2024-28 of the City Council, calling and giving notice of the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 for the election of municipal officers and for the submission to the voters of a ballot measure relating to the General Plan; and Resolution No. 2024-29 of the City Council, requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Humboldt to provide election services and to consolidate the General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 with the Statewide General Election to be held on that date; and Resolution No. 2024- 32 of the City Council adopting regulations for Candidates for Elective Office pertaining to Candidates Statements; Resolution No. 2024-30 setting priorities for filing written arguments regarding a city ballot measure and directing the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis; and Resolution No. 2024-31 of the City Council providing for the filing of rebuttal arguments for city measures submitted at municipal elections, motion Carried Ayes: Leslie Castellano, Kati Moulton, G.
