The City Council of the City of Eureka met in REGULAR Session on the above date, 5:00 P.M. Closed Session, 6:00 P.M. Open Session, at the Eureka City Hall, Council Chambers, 531 “K” Street, Eureka.

1. Accept the Annual Lateral Repair Project 2023 Project; and

I) REPORTS/ACTION ITEMS
I.1 OIR Group Review of Incident at Cal Poly Humboldt - Chief Stephens and, Julie Ruhlin and Teresa Magula with OIR Group provided a report.

I.2 Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD) - Removed from agenda, will be brought back at future meeting.
J) FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
By Consensus, Council approved Councilmember Fernandez request to review mutual aide agreement between EPD and other law enforcement agencies.
By Consensus, Council approved Councilmember Castellano request to bring back Resolution with regards to 2030 Climate Goals.
By Consensus, Council approved Councilmember Castellano request for a staff report on history of single-family zoning and how it has affected housing in Eureka.
K) CITY MANAGER REPORTS
K.1 City Manager Slattery reported on the success of Get Out and Play Day.
City Manager Slattery also acknowledged Chief Robertson and his work as Fire Chief, Chief Robertson was attending his last Council meeting as Fire Chief. City Manager Slattery thanked him for his service and wished him well.

Councilmember Fernandez had no travel to report. Recently attended a REDEC meeting.
Councilmember Contreras-DeLoach had no travel to report. Attended several meetings.
Thanked City staff at the Summer Camps.
Councilmember Castellano had no travel to report.
