Notice is hereby given that the Exeter City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in person at Exeter City Hall located at 137 N. F St. in Exeter California, 93221.

Mayor called the regular session to order at 6:00 p.m.

the Office of City Council District A in Lieu of Election Pursuant to California Elections Code §10229 (pp. 3 - 32)

City Administrator provided a report for the Council and members of the public.
Mayor opened the item regarding the adoption of Resolution No. 2026-37 up for public comment. No public comments were presented.

The City Council asked a series of questions of the applicants for City Council District A who were in attendance, and each applicant was provided an opportunity to respond.
Mayor Pro Tem Wilson made a motion to appoint Alexander Workman to the office of City Council District A. The motion was seconded by Council Member Lentz.
