SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Declaring June 19th (Juneteenth) a Town Holiday ______________________________________________________________________ This supplement is to revise the Fiscal Impact portion of the staff report for this item that included in the agenda packet.
FISCAL IMPACT
Holidays officially adopted by the Town are days when most Town employees take the day off. There is no additional cost for SEIU Local 1021 (Fairfax non-management employees) and management employees to do so. Because Police Officers Association (POA) employees work on holidays they receive holiday pay. The cost to the Town for the Juneteenth holiday would be approximately $8,000.
