Special Meeting to Conduct a Budget Workshop

Mayor Cutrano called the Regular meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
Call to Order/Roll Call:

STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Heather Abrams, Town Manager
Michael Vivrette, Finance Director
Loren Umberto, Public Works Director
Sean Youra, Climate Action Coordinator
Anne Mannes, Recreation Manager
Approval of Agenda and Affidavit of Posting
M/s, Coler/Ackerman, Motion to approve the Agenda and Affidavit of Posting.

Regular Agenda
Public comment was received from Fairfax resident Rick Hamer regarding sufficient budget for sidewalks and parklets.
The Town Council conducted the workshop to discuss Fiscal Year 2023-24 Proposed Operating and Capital Improvement Budget and discussed the following topics:
Town Manager Abrams and Finance Director Vivrette presented a general Budget overview.
The Council received presentations from each Department, including a presentation on the Capital Improvement Program (“CIP”).
The Council discussed their annual goals for the upcoming year and directed staff to bring back the goals for adoption at the next regular Council meeting.
