Greetings Council Members,
As always, thank you for all you do in service of Fairfax residents! A great many of us truly appreciate your work and know how much time and thought you all put into your town council service.

That said, I want to encourage you all to hold the course and NOT repeal the rent control and just cause ordinances, and if putting them to a ballot vote, please put them on the ballot in November of 2024, when the largest number of people will be voting! That will be the only fair way to really get representation from everyone in Fairfax.

In addition, I am in favor of keeping the current rent cap of 60% of CPI or 5%, whichever is less. I think that is very reasonable, as a long-time renter.

Thanks again for all of your work on this project, and I'm sorry for all of the abuse you've had to take-- it's unconscionable!
Sincerely,
Wynn Richards
