I want to commend you all for undergoing such a long and rigorous process of reevaluating and amending the rent stabilization and just cause eviction.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness and care in refining these (desperately) needed policies .
Please adopt the ordinances as amended so that the law can update and tenants and landlords alike can have clarity about their provisions ..
These policies were passed almost a year ago.. It is long past time to begin implementation so that the laws are enforced .
So that renters receive full protections and landlords are able to petition for rent increases that exceed the cap...
Please adopt and implement the amended ordinances !!!
I have been a renter in Marin for over 45 years, And i have two daughters that are renters in Marin..
Please know that these ordinances will help keep our community healthy and strong...
