SUBJECT: Interview and consider appointment of applicant to the Open Space Committee
RECOMMENDATION
Interview applicant Theodore Catrini for the Open Space Committee and appoint him to the Fairfax Open Space Committee (“FOSC”) to fill a vacancy for a full four-year term.
DISCUSSION
Mr. Catrini currently serves on FOSC as a youth member. He has attended many meetings and participated on the committee as a non-voting youth member. He is aging out of the youth position and has applied to be a voting member on FOSC. If appointed, Mr. Catrini’s appointment will be effective November 1, 2023.
There is one vacancy on FOSC. His application for consideration is attached.

To me, Fairfax has always been a very wholesome, family oriented town with lots of activities and thriving businesses. In the future, I hope it becomes more appealing to the next generation of homeowners, either by supporting the beauty of our Open Space or through other means.
