Administer the Oath of Office to Elected Public Officers
RECOMMENDATION
That the Oath of Office be administered to the elected public officers.
DISCUSSION
The Constitution of the State of California requires that public officers be sworn in prior to beginning their term of office. At the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election, three officers were elected by the residents of Fairfax.
Each officer will begin a 4-year term of office tonight after taking the Oath of Office. Their terms will expire upon certification of the November 2028 election.
