Previous Council Direction
• December 6, 2023, staff discussed options for Station 21, and the Council approved an agreement with the architect to move the project from conceptual design to bid ready drawings. The estimated construction cost of that design was $650,000.
• September 4, 2024, Staff discussed progress on the project and Council selected Option 1, an estimated $1.5 million upgrade of 2nd floor to include additional bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, floor plan reconfiguration • February 5, 2025, staff discussed adding necessary additional documentation to the project to address code related upgrades required by the improvements.
Council approved an amendment to the designers contract to allow the project to continue moving forward. This meeting also provided a detailed update on the status of the project.
