SUBJECT Reappoint Ted Pugh to the Tree Advisory Committee
RECOMMENDATION
Reappoint Ted Pugh to serve another full three-year term on the Tree Committee ending October 15, 2028.
BACKGROUND
The Tree Advisory Committee is responsible for reviewing tree removal/alteration applications at a public hearing and making a recommendation to the Director of Planning and Building Services to grant or deny a permit.
The Tree Advisory Committee is made up of five members: a representative of the Planning Commission, a representative of the Parks and Recreation Commission, a representative of the Open Space Committee, and two Council-appointed members of the community at-large.
DISCUSSION
Ted Pugh sits on the Tree Committee as a member of the Public. • The Town Council first appointed Ted Pugh as a Public of the Tree Advisory Committee in November 2019. His term expires on November 6, 2025.
• The additional three-year term, beginning with Reappointment on October 15, 2025 will continue for three years and expire on October 15, 2028.
Ted has brought depth and perspective to his position and this committee. His continued willingness and commitment to volunteerism are greatly appreciated.
