Proclamation of the Town of Fairfax
In Support of North Bay Zero Waste Week,
October 11th through October 18th
WHEREAS, the ZERO WASTE MARIN JPA has assumed a leadership role by setting Zero Waste as a goal and offers County-wide programs to make zero waste more accessible to everyone; and
WHEREAS, since 2023 Zero Waste Marin has collaborated with Zero Waste Sonoma and other community partners to host the North Bay Zero Waste Symposium as a local opportunity for industry and the public to gain insight on zero waste topics and trends, share ideas, and network; and
WHEREAS, this year, Zero Waste Marin has collaborated with the Zero Waste Sonoma JPA and volunteers to expand community event offerings for a dedicated week in October aimed at educating and empowering various sectors of the public to participate in zero waste; and WHEREAS, Zero Waste Marin along with other organizations, Cities, and Towns will be hosting zero waste events throughout the week of October 11-18.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax, CA does hereby proclaim October 11th through 18th, 2025, North Bay Zero Waste Week.
