CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Catherine Moy called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL
On roll call were Councilmembers Doug Carr, Doriss Panduro, Scott Tonnesen, Rick Vaccaro, and K. Patrice Williams, Vice Mayor Pam Bertani, and Mayor Moy.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Cornelius Wood:
• Discussed article re presentation regarding Chamber of Commerce and plans for a train station. Supports this plan.
• Also mentioned N. Texas St and Moorhead and suggested access points between Fairfield and Suisun. Great potential transportation access and suggests planners look into it. • Also mentioned Proposition P - pavement work
Rick Johnson - expressed how proud he is about living in Fairfield, the persistence and dedication of the City and appreciation for City.
Monica Winn - local realtor, concerned about homeless, works for HUD affordable housing and Fairfield community for better health. Active in community. Offered to help community re homeless issues.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Resolution 2023-20 of the City Council of the City of Fairfield Approving the Mayor's Appointments and Recommendations for the Calendar Year 2023 Councilmember Williams would like to switch off Travis Unified School District Committee and instead would like to serve on the Solano Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Board.
Mayor Moy will consider Councilmember Williams' request for the Solano EDC board.
Councilmember Tonnesen made a motion to approve Resolution 2023-20. Vice Mayor Bertani seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. (7-0)
