Good evening,
My name is Ricky Caperton and I purchased my home on July 1, 2022 at 1057 Winterwood Drive in Fairfield. Im within the Paradise Valley HOA and there’s a Prop 218 vote occurring tomorrow to consider an increase in LLMD fees.

My concern is that I never received a ballot and I know of others in neighboring HOAs that purchased a home around my time who also did not receive such ballot.

I’m not sure how or when property owners are noticed, but I’m concerned that there’s several others that may not have been provided a ballot. I would like to vote “yes” in favor of the increase of the Paradise Valley LLMD but I’m not sure I can get down to the meeting on time (I work in Napa and get off at 5).

It’s a little concerning that the assessors office has my up to date info (I received my tax bills last Fall), yet however addresses that are obtained for the Prop 218 vote somehow didn’t have the up to date owner information. There’s a disconnect somewhere.

I know the importance of these decisions, and urge you to either postpone the vote to get a sense of how many property owners purchased homes last year to ensure that the appropriate owners are contacted for the opportunity to vote.

Thank you in advance.
