Re: Support for Green Valley 3 Project
Dear Mayor Moy and Fairfield City Councilmembers,
As a former chairman for both the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) and the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) California Leadership Council, I am writing to express support for the Spanos Corporation's proposed multifamily plan in Fairfield.

The company is a national builder of multifamily projects with a reputation for developments that enhance the communities where they build.

I am a small business owner and Solano County resident who is thrilled by the prospect of attracting a high -skills workforce to the region. Our local economy has faced challenges as we watch our young professionals leave the area for Bay Area housing that provides the amenities they desire. The Green Valley 3 multifamily project provides convenience for residents and resort -style recreation, health & wellness facilities, common gathering spaces, and enhanced safety features. Lifestyle amenities such as these will encourage young professionals, military service members, or retirees to relocate or stay in the Solano region. We need this kind of base to attract high -wage employers.

As a parent and a Latino, I recognize the importance family plays in the Hispanic culture, so naturally, it plays a big role in Hispanic -run businesses. The Hispanic business community can promote stability and longevity for their businesses and their families by developing a succession plan for younger generations. Access to ample and desirable modern local housing options allows families to stay close to one another and contribute to a bright and vibrant Solano regional economy.

I have been a devoted advocate for business and my community for over twenty-five years, and I urge Council to approve the Spanos Corporation's application for a quality multifamily development. The project will be an excellent addition to the community, Fairfield residents, and the local economy.

Regards,
Manuel Cosme Jr.

Business owner & small business advocate in service
