I want to voice my opposition to the removal of the peafowl. I chose to purchase my home in this neighborhood because of the presence of the peafowl. The fact that peafowl live in this area is a well‐known fact to people prior to them purchasing their home. I find it very aggravating that now residents of the area are complaining about the peafowl. Why would you move to an area that has animals you are opposed to? These people are no different than those that choose to purchase a home near an airport, then complain about the noise of airplanes flying over or near their home. Some people say that the peafowl are not indigenous to the area, well neither are we.
I hope you will listen to those of us that love the peafowl, and stop the removal of these beautiful birds.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
