Hello,
This is Kevin Ferguson at 2145 Hillridge Dr. Both my wife Nickie and I were sad and a little angry to hear about the decisions that are being made about the Peacocks without proper notification to all residents.

Personally I really like them and enjoy their involvement in our community. I don't find their noise a nuisance and don't find they cause any serious property damage. I like how they make our neighborhood unique. I hope you realize that unless you make the fence that's being proposed bigger than a house or completely enclose the entire park it won't contain them. They fly over my house all the time. Again, at least for my area I like the fact that they are our neighborhood wildlife and I don't think they should be controlled so severely as you are proposing.

IMO they were here first and when you moved here you knew there were peacocks, if you don't like it then sell your house and move. Also I'm pretty sure the original owners of this property that sold it to the city with the understanding that the peacocks had a home too would not be happy with the decisions that are being proposed.

Please contact me if you would like to speak on this topic more.
