CALL TO ORDER
Vice Mayor Pam Bertani called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.
ROLL CALL
On roll call were Vice Mayor Pam Bertani, Councilmember Doug Carr, City Manager David Gassaway, Assistant to the City Manager Anna Guiles, and City Clerk Karen Rees. Lobbyists Jason and Paul Gonsalves of J.A. Gonsalves & Sons were on Zoom.

No members of the public were present in person or on Zoom.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Update on the Emerging Legislative Trends —Anna Guiles, Assistant to the City Manager Anna gave an overview and introduced lobbyist Jason Gonsalves, who gave a legislative update.
They spoke about trends in the 2024 legislation. Approximately 2,295 bills were introduced by the February 16, 2024, deadline. Jason stated he would present a report to City Council at a meeting in June 2024.
