CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-284
ADOPTING THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, in January 2023, the City of Fairfield launched the city’s first Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan initiative; and
WHEREAS, through a series of internal and stakeholder meetings, a comprehensive engagement campaign, community workshops, formal surveys, and a variety of data collection from residents; and
WHEREAS, a public review of the draft Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Ma ster plan was provided on September 23, through October 13, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the final draft of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan will serve as a guide for how the City will improve, expand, repurpose, prioritize, maintain, staff, and fund Fairfield’s park assets and recreational opportunities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The adoption of the 2024 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan.
