CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-285
APPROVING RENEWAL OF THE SMALL GOVERNMENT ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS RESEARCH INSTITUTE, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield (City) is currently engaged in a Small Government Enterprise Agreement with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) for software products for its Geographical Information System (GIS) desktop, server, and online environments; and
WHEREAS, the City’s current enrollment in the Small Government Enterprise Agreement with ESRI Inc. was authorized by Resolution 2022-08 and will expire on February 24, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the city manager or designee to renew a three-year Small Government Enterprise Agreement with ESRI, Inc. to provide the City software products and services as described in the forms attached hereto and is hereby authorized to take all necessary steps to implement this resolution.
Section 2. The council hereby authorizes the city manager or designee to renew a three -year ArcGIS Hub Premium Online Community License with ESRI, Inc. to provide th e City software products and services as described in the forms attached hereto and is hereby authorized to take all necessary steps to implement this resolution.
Section 3. The council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds not to exceed $279,750. Total costs for the software will be $93,250 ($87,600 + $5,000 [ArcGIS Hub Online] + $650 [Plus Image Extension]) annually, automatically renewing each year for three years, for a total not to exceed $279,750. Funds for this agreement are budgeted in the Computer Fund Enterprise License.
