CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-295
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND INNOVATE MOBILITY, LLC TO DEVELOP, COMPLETE,
AND IMPLEMENT A COMPREHENSIVE OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS OF FAST LOCAL AND
PARATRANSIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, on December 1, 2020, the City Council approved an agreement for consultant services between the City of Fairfield and Innovate Mobility, LLC (Innovate Mobility); and
WHEREAS, the agreement provides consultant services to develop, complete, and implement a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) of FAST local and paratransit services; and
WHEREAS, additional work is needed beyond the original scope of work to implement the COA; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the proposed scope of work by Innovate Mobility and determined that costs are fair and reasonable; and
WHEREAS, FAST was awarded $1,000,000 from the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) F iscal Year 2021 American Rescue Plan’s (ARP) Route Planning and Restoration Program; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 4 to the agreement will increase the total compensation by $1,000,000 to provide the additional scope of work.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The city manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute Amendment No. 4 to an agreement with Innovate Mobility for an amount not -to-exceed $1,000,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,832,610
Section 2. The city manager is hereby authorized to execute and administer amendments in an amount not-to-exceed $50,000.
