FAIRFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY
RESOLUTION NO. HA2024-05
APPROVING THE UPDATE OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN FOR THE FAIRFIELD HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025
WHEREAS, the Fairfield Housing Authority (FHA) periodically makes changes to the Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program to reflect current policies and practices that improve services, provide clear guidance to FHA staff and community partners, and enhance the commitment to the clients served by the Housing Choice Voucher Program; and
WHEREAS, the FHA must execute an approved Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program to receive rental assistance funding from the U.S. Department o f Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the F HA conducted a public comment period on the proposed updates to the Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program from November 2, 2024, through December 17, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners for the F HA have reviewed the Agenda Report dated December 17, 2024, and the updated Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program and find it in the interest of the public health, safety, and welfare to authorize the revisions to the Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FAIRFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The revisions to the Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program, as attached hereto, are hereby approved.
Section 2. The executive director or his assigned is hereby authorized and directed to conduct all appropriate and necessary activities to submit the approved Administrative Plan for the Fairfield Housing Choice Voucher Program to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
