RESOLUTION NO. 2025-02
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT
AND JOINT ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND MANKAS CORNER HOLDINGS, LLC FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 3,612 SQUARE FOOT PORTION OF THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 3305 CHERRY HILLS COURT PROPERTY LOCATED IN SOLANO
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield is the owner of the 3.38-acre land known as 3305 Cherry Hills Court, APN 0151-880-140 (City Parcel); and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to sell a 3,612 square-foot portion of the City Parcel (the Property) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council declared the property exempt surplus land on September 17, 2024 ; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) approved the Property qualified as exempt surplus land on December 6, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City, and Mankas Corner Holdings, LLC wish to enter into a Purchase and Sale Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions (the “Purchase and Sale Agreement ”) to transfer the Property; and
WHEREAS, Mankas Corner Holdings, LLC has reviewed, approved, and executed the Purchase and Sale Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The council hereby approves the Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between the City of Fairfield and Mankas Corner Holdings, LLC for the Property, as attached hereto, with minor or clarifying revisions as may be approved by the city attorney.
Section 2. The city manager or designee is hereby authorized to do all things necessary and proper to implement the above -mentioned transaction including executing any documents needed to manage and maintain the Property.
