CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-03
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL SERVICES FUND
WHEREAS, on June 4, 2024, City Council approved Resolution 2024-133 approving the “Mid Cycle Update to FY 2024 -2024 and 2024 -2025” which includes the Intergovernmental Services Fund; and
WHEREAS, Fairfield is the recipient of $194,947.72 as proceeds from a class-action legal decision in favor of several cities in California; and
WHEREAS, the City received these funds via a wire transfer in October 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department is able to utilize these funds immediately for facility, operational, and strategic investments to support the residents and businesses in the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The council amends the budget for the Intergovernmental Services Fund to include an additional $194,947.72 in revenue for use by the Community Development Department.
