RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve appointments. Perform oath of office.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE
The City Council is being asked to approve the appointments as follows:
Golf Advisory Board
Term January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028
Carol Haddock
Rockville Hills Regional Park Citizens Advisory Committee Term January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028
Cynthia Apaka
Jessica Aveytia
Jared Preston
Youth Commission
Term January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026
Daniel Gonzalez
DISCUSSION
The Golf Advisory Board serves four-year terms. The board’s terms are from January 1, 2025 , through December 31, 2028.
The Rockville Hills Regional Park Citizens Advisory Committee serves four -year terms. The committee’s terms are from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2028.
The Youth Committee serves two-year terms. The committee’s terms are from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026.
Councilmembers Doriss Panduro and Scott Tonnesen interviewed the applicants on January 14- 15, 2025. The interviewed applicants listed above were recommended for appointment, and the recommendations were submitted to Mayor Catherine "Cat" Moy for consideration.
Mayor Moy agreed with the recommendations provided.
