DISCUSSION
The Public Works Department is currently in the process of procuring a contractor to build a new fire station located in the Green Valley Area on Business Center Drive (Assessor’s Parcel Number [APN]: 0148-540-360). The new Fire Station No. 36 ( CPW010036) includes the construction of a new single-story 7,260 square-foot building, including new utilities, site improvements, paving, landscaping, and full interior. To construct a gravity sewer main the Project is required to acquire a permanent easement situated on adjacent property. The Project is slated to begin construction in July.
The proposed easement impacts 4555 Business Center Drive (APN: 0148-540-410), owned by TAL Green Valley, LP. The 20-foot-wide easement extends approximately 370 feet along the northern
property line and is necessary for the construction and ongoing maintenance of the gravity sewer collection system.
