Good morning, Councilmember Carr,
You don't often get email from [email protected]. Learn why this is important CAUTION: This email originated from outside the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
2 I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out regarding the upcoming council meeting in two weeks, where this matter will be discussed again. While you may have seen me at previous meetings, we haven’t had the opportunity to meet in person. I would appreciate the chance to sit down with you to discuss this issue at your convenience, I am available Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week.

As you may be aware, Embarc has made extensive efforts to discredit us, but their claims are entirely unfounded. There is no legitimate basis for revoking our license, and I can clarify everything concisely. Beyond the technical aspects, this action would not serve the best interests of the City of Fairfield. Instead, it would only reduce competition, ultimately benefiting the existing dispensaries rather than the community. In fact, our proposed location is projected to generate approximately $1,000,000 in annual tax revenue for the city. I can demonstrate this with actual revenue numbers from our Suisun City location which is in the middle of nowhere.

Additionally, while Embarc initially listed a local owner on their application, that individual is no longer an owner of the business. The owners of Embarc are not local residences. While this is not a concern of mine, I do believe that, as a local business owner, I deserve to have a voice in this matter.

Please let me know if you're available to meet next week. I appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to the opportunity to speak with you.

Best regards,
Brian Mitchell
