CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-43
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE GRANT OF DEED RESTRICTIONS ON OPEN
SPACE PARCELS GRANTED TO THE CITY BY THE SERPAS RANCH DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes (Lennar) acquired the entitlements for the Serpas Ranch development; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Water Quality Control Board requires Lennar to record a deed restriction on Assessor’s Parcel Numbers (APNs) 0156-360-070, 0156-360-090, and 0156-360-110 for open space, open space restoration, and monitoring and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City is the legal parcel owner of these APNs; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the terms of the deed restriction and agree.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The city manager is authorized and directed to execute th e Grant of Deed Restrictions attached as Exhibit A.
Section 2. The city manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary and proper to implement the above-mentioned agreement.
