RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve appointments. Perform oath of office.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE
The City Council is being asked to approve the appointments as follows:
Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee
Term January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028
Verna Brooks
Elaine Clark
DeAndre Richard
Harriet Stricklen
Tina Werblin
Landscape Oversight Committee
Term April 1, 2025, to April 1, 2030
LeTroi Smith
Youth Commission
Term January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026
Lauren Dimaisip
Ariel He-Wang
Cian Wilson
DISCUSSION
The Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee serves four-year terms. The board’s terms are from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2028.
The Landscape Oversight Committee serves five-year terms. The committee’s terms are from April 1, 2025, through April 1, 2030.
The Youth Committee serves two-year terms. The committee’s terms are from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026.
The applicants listed above were recommended for appointment, and the recommendations were submitted to Mayor Catherine "Cat" Moy for consideration.
Mayor Moy agreed with the recommendations provided.
