ORDINANCE NO. 2025-03
AMENDING CHAPTER 12.800, SECTION 12.804, CHANGING ANY VIOLATION OF THE
ORDINANCE FROM AN INFRACTION TO A MISDEMEANOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 12.804 of Chapter 12.800 is hereby modified to the Fairfield City Code to read as follows:
12.804 Violations.
Violations of this Article shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not exceeding $1000 or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective 30 days fo llowing its adoption by the City Council. A summary of this Ordinance shall, within 15 days after passage, be published in accordance with Section 36933 of the Government Code of the State of California with the names of the City Councilmembers voting for and against it.
