CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-59
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
FAIRFIELD AND THE PUN GROUP, LLP FOR INDEPENDENT ANNUAL AUDIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield (City) issued a request for proposal for audit services in December 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City received six proposals from audit firms which were evaluated by the Finance Department; and
WHEREAS, with the guidance of the Audit Committee, staff is recommending The Pun Group LLP for the audit services for the Fiscal Years 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029, including a 10% contingency for any additional costs associated with the Single Audit.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The city manager is hereby authorized to execute the professional services agreement between the City of Fairfield and The Pun Group, LLP for independent annual audit services in the amount of $622,046, with an annual 10% contingency of $62,204, for a total not -to-exceed amount of $684,250.
